For a long time, I believed I would bring this work to life “someday.”

When I felt more certain.
More experienced.
More healed.
More prepared to hold something meaningful for others.

But over the years, through travel, guiding, yoga, study, and deep personal transformation, I began to understand something important: the people who guide us are not those who have arrived somewhere perfect — they are those who are willing to keep listening, learning, and walking the path themselves.

I am still learning.
Still growing.
Still unraveling old stories and discovering new ways of being in the world.

And yet, I trust deeply in the power of these experiences — in movement, breath, nature, and intentional time away from the noise of daily life. I have seen how stepping into wild landscapes or quiet inner spaces can reshape how we relate to ourselves and what we believe is possible.

Ansuz began as a quiet idea many years ago.
Not yet with a name, but as a feeling — a desire to create spaces where people could reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.

At different points in my life, I imagined this taking many forms: a retreat center, a community gathering space, a guiding company, a healing practice, or all of the above. But my path has rarely been rooted in one place. Years of traveling, guiding, studying, and living seasonally in different landscapes taught me that our paths are not linear and need not be tied to a single location or idea to be real.

The vision continues to evolve as I do.

Through my studies in Intercultural Peacebuilding, I learned that meaningful change in the world begins with cultivating peace within the individual. Through outdoor guiding, I saw how challenge and awe can awaken resilience and self-trust. Through yoga and meditation, I discovered practical tools for building an inner sanctuary that we can return to again and again.

Eventually, these threads began to weave themselves together.

Ansuz — named after the Norse rune associated with breath, wisdom, communication, and divine inspiration — became a way to share what I had been living for years.

This work is not about perfection or having all the answers.
It is about creating intentional experiences where people can explore, reflect, rest, and grow in ways that feel honest and supportive.

The form of this work will continue to evolve.
But the heart of it remains the same:

To help people reconnect with their inner voice, with the living world around them, and with the quiet strength that already exists within.
